Looking for fine dining and a quiet ambiance with delicious food. One block from the Duff Green Mansion at 1010 First East Street in Anchuca Mansion and Inn, dinner is offered Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5 until 8pm. Walnut Hills
If you are staying at the Steele Cottage, you should step out the front door and across the street. Just follow the aroma of chicken frying to the Walnut Hills. World-famous southern cuisine at 1214 Adams Street open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 11 am to 9 pm. Sundays 11 am to 2pm. The daytime blue plate includes some of the best vegetables you have ever tasted. A little hint, one piece of cake will serve a lot more than one person.
Rusty’s River Front Grill
Rusty’s River Front Grill can’t be missed across the street from the big boat and can’t be beaten. Always crowded, no reservations but they will tell you the truth about the wait time. Try the fried green tomatoes with crab sauce. Open Tuesdays through Thursdays 11 am to 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Fridays 11 to 1:30 and 5:30 to 9:30 pm along with Saturdays 11 am to 9:30 pm.
10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill
10 South Rooftop Bar and Grill offers indoor/outdoor seating atop the Trustmark Bank Building. Overlook the canal and the city with an upward view of the Old Court House Museum. You shouldn’t leave Vicksburg without seeing it from the 10th floor of 1301 Washington Street.

Key City Brewery is Vicksburg’s only craft brewery also offering a full bar and a pub menu of grill-fired pizzas and other delicacies. Come for the beer, stay for the food. Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11 am to 11pm and all other days 4pm to 9pm.

The Biscuit
The Biscuit at 610 Grove Street has been a mainstay of Vicksburg for almost 50 years. The original Uneeda Biscuit Manufacturing Company, this historic building makes for a great bar and restaurant. Closed on Wednesday opening other days at 10 am closing at 9 pm, 1am or 2am. Sundays for lunch.
