Please join us in the Grand Hall at Duff Green Mansion from 5-6 PM. We’ll have wine waiting and look forward to sharing local recommendations for dinner and must-see spots around town. Every stay comes with our three-course seated breakfast and world-famous tour at 8:30 in the morning.

Rooms at Duff Green Mansion

Eight guest rooms are located within the main house, while the Hideaway—a charming separate suite—is nestled just outside in the courtyard. All rooms offer private baths, individual central air and heating, and cable television.

Five of the main house rooms are conveniently adjacent to parking, just steps from their first-floor entrances. Three additional rooms are situated on the third floor, accessible via a single flight of stairs.

During your stay, you’ll enjoy full access to the Mansion’s main floor, as well as the Pool & Patio and the peaceful Gardens & Porches. Each morning begins with a three-course seated breakfast served in the formal dining room of the Duff Green Mansion.

The Dixie Room

Located on the western side of the first floor beside the rose garden, this cheerful space offers step-free access and a cozy setting. Featuring a contemporary king bed, antique armoire, dresser, and in-room seating, it’s the perfect blend of comfort and charm. The private bath includes a walk-in shower.

The Camellia Room

Romantic and serene, this guest-favorite room features a rosewood pencil post king bed and antique furnishings in calming shades of teal. Two comfortable chairs create an inviting space for quiet conversation. Located on the north end of the Mansion, it offers beautiful views of the rose garden—once a Confederate burial ground—and fills with natural light throughout the day. The recently updated private bath includes a tub with a ceramic shower surround. There is no elevation or steps between parking and the Camellia Room, ensuring especially easy and convenient access.

The Confederate Room

Spacious and full of Southern character, this large room features 1 queen bed, 1 double bed and a single bed surrounded by period antiques, restful blue tones, and classic oriental carpets. A cozy sitting area beside the fireplace offers an inviting space for reading or relaxing. Located beside the shaded east garden—ideal for guests who enjoy a leisurely morning—it is accessible without the need for stairs. The private bath has been recently remodeled and includes a tub with ceramic shower surround. Please note: this room is not pet-friendly.

The Magnolia Room

A peaceful retreat on the first floor, the Magnolia Room features a king bed and a charming sitting area with four chairs. Its carpeted layout offers warmth underfoot and step-free access to the Mansion’s main areas and parking—making it both comfortable and convenient. Pet friendly.

Little Annie

Cozy and budget-conscious, this smaller room offers a queen bed, seating area, and en-suite bath with a walk-in shower. It’s adjacent to the courtyard and lower seating area. Please note: it’s located beneath the kitchen, so morning activity may be audible. Pet friendly.

The Hideaway

Sleeps up to 4
A tucked-away efficiency apartment just off the courtyard, this private space includes a king bedroom, living room with a queen pull-out couch, and a kitchenette with a refrigerator and microwave. The bathroom features a stand-up shower for modern convenience. Please note: this room is not pet-friendly.

Pemberton Suite

Step into history in this stunning third-floor retreat, where 15½-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows flood the room with natural light. The suite showcases original hardwood floors and a recently remodeled bathroom for modern comfort. A true centerpiece of the home, this is the owners’ favorite room—and for good reason. Guests can also view the preserved damage from the fifth cannonball strike, a moment that led Duff Green to declare the mansion a hospital during the Civil War. Pet friendly.

Duff Green Suite

Once the personal bedroom of Duff and Mary Green, this expansive suite blends historic elegance with modern luxury. Unwind in a king bed and indulge in the private bath featuring a clawfoot tub and separate shower. For families or groups, the adjoining original nursery opens to reveal two period double beds and two twin beds—comfortably accommodating up to eight guests. It’s a perfect mix of intimacy and space, ideal for honeymoons or multigenerational getaways.

The Siege Room

Tucked just behind the upstairs kitchen, the Siege Room offers a cozy stay with a queen bed and private en-suite bath featuring a shower. Guests can enjoy the nearby upstairs hallway as a quiet sitting area, perfect for reading or relaxing.

A favorite among budget-conscious travelers, this pet-friendly room includes the same full breakfast, historic tour, and access to all common spaces as our most luxurious suites—just in a smaller, more intimate setting.
